Kelci Brown

Community Engagement Associate

Kelci works with the community engagement manager and natural resources team to create an informed and engaged community that supports the League's efforts of sustainability and clarity for Lake Tahoe. The primary ways she works to achieve this is through implementing educational programs, coordinating the Keep Tahoe Blue sticker program, and assisting with multiple volunteer driven events.

Kelci joined the League staff in 2019. She has lived in Meyers the past two years, became a League core volunteer in 2017 through the Pipe Keeper program, and is an SOS Outreach youth mentor. She graduated from The University of Puget Sound in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Political Economy and Sociology. Since then she has also taken child development, teaching certification and environmental science classes at LTCC to stay current on education towards her passions.

In her free time Kelci enjoys traveling, rock climbing, snowboarding, scuba diving, baking, and hiking with her dog.
